Cubero Elementary

The 2023 New Mexico State Fair was held at EXPO NM in September. The Student Art School Arts exhibit, sponsored by NMPED, is always a highlight demonstrating the unique talents of students across New Mexico's art programs. Students from Cubero Elementary had the opportunity to display their skills at the exhibit. They were recognized at a school wide assembly with a presentation of ribbons .

Halloween Day at Cubero Elementary! Reminder that our Trunk-or-Treat is on Tuesday the 31st. Participants may start arriving at 12:00 pm. We will close the gates at 12:30pm to prevent accidents and delays. Cubero Tigers celebrate Hispanic Heritage month. Students and staff got to experience Hispanic culture through various activities throughout the week. We encourage our students to be proud of who they are and where they come from.

Thank you to our fathers and father figures for a great Watch D.O.G.S. kick-off turn out! Your involvement in your students education is valued and appreciated. We hope to see you at school soon.

Attention Parents: Photos are coming to Cubero Elementary School on 09/29/23 (this Friday). All students will be photographed and you will receive a proof to see your student's photo before you buy the bigger portraits. We are offering some discounted Picture Day Specials that must be turned into the photographer on picture day. Additional items/packages will be available for purchase online as usual. You will receive a proof about 1 week after picture day for those. They will be photographed on a green screen so please avoid green and you will be able to pick your background for individuals when you place your order.

Ribbon cutting ceremony for Cubero Elementary's new Book Vending Machine! Congratulations to Amelia Martinez for having read the most books in the 2022 - 2023 school year. She got to help cut the ribbon and redeem the first book at Open House on Thursday night.
