Early College High School is no accepting applications for the SY 22-23.
Enrollment and acceptance into ECHS is done through an academically competitive process, beginning in the spring of the student's 8th grade year. Only 25 incoming 9th grade students are accepted in the program each year. The program is limited to ninth graders, as it requires a full four years to successfully complete both the High School Diploma and Associated Degree.
Each student will work closely with the ECHS counselor to develop and revise their Next-Step Plan annually, focusing on their chosen Career Pathway. During the first three semesters, students will take all of the core course that a traditional high school student will take in their first three years. All electives will be made through the dual-credit process of their Career Pathway.
Upon High School graduation, it is expected that each student will also have earned an Associate's Degree, whereby he/she will do one of the following:
- Continue post-secondary education
- Enter Military with a higher rank
- Enter the workforce using degree
All students, no matter the Career Path-way, will have the job-embedded skills to succeed following graduation.
