ATTENTION GCCS FAMILIES!
GCCS school buses will operate as normal on Wednesday, September 30.
However, due to persistent rainfall over the past several days, we understand that road conditions in some rural surrounding areas may be muddy or unsafe.
If your student lives in a rural area and is unable to safely travel to school due to road conditions, they will be excused from attendance.
Please use your best judgment and prioritize safety when making travel decisions.

Due to an influx of inappropriate social media posts involving students and staff members at Los Alamitos being posted without permission, students have lost their cell phone privileges at school until further notice.
Mrs. Smith will re-evaluate in a few weeks to determine if/when privileges will be given back to the students. If your student must bring his/her phone to school, it must be turned off and stored in his/her backpack.
If your student uses his/her phone during the day, the phone will be confiscated and a parent will be required to come to school to pick it up.

This request is being made as a precaution to help ensure the safety of our students and their families as weather and road conditions continue to develop.
Parents/guardians are asked to make arrangements to pick up their students. Please follow the school’s regular student checkout procedures upon arrival. Buses will run on a regular schedule.
