PSA for November 22, 2024, Celebrating the Life of Coach Daniel Otero.
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We want to inform you that our school LAMS was in a shelter-in-place situation due to a note that was found indicating that someone was going to shoot up the school. The safety and well-being of our students and staff is our top priority, and Grants Police department and GCCS school security were notified and were on site during this time.
Please note the following:
Students are safe and under supervision inside the building.
No one was allowed to enter or exit the campus during that time, as a precautionary measure.
Precautionary measures were taken to ensure the safety of all students and staff.
The note was determined to be a non-credible threat.
We understand that this may cause concern, but please rest assured that we are taking all necessary steps to ensure the safety of everyone on campus. We kindly ask that you refrain from calling the school at this time in regards to this issue, as it may disrupt communication efforts.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We will continue to keep you informed and will provide additional details as needed.

PSA for the November 19, 2024 School Board Meeting
GCCS schools will be open on Monday, November 11, 2024. Special events will take place at Milan Elementary, Cubero Elementary, Seboyeta Elementary, and Grants High to recognize our Veterans. Everyone is invited.
All GCCS schools are closed today November 8 2024
Grants Cibola County Schools will be on a two hour delay tomorrow Friday, November 8, 2024
LAMS 8th grade basketball tryouts.
Basketball tryouts will resume Friday November 8th and Monday November 11th. In the event there is NO school Friday, tryouts will resume Monday and Tuesday.
