LAMS Baseball/Softball Tryouts
Monday and Tuesday 3:30-5:30.
Must have a current physical on file at the school in order to tryout
Tryouts are CLOSED.
Parents will NOT be allowed to park inside the facility during the tryouts. Coaches will re-open the gates to allow for pick up at 5:30. The park will be closed to the public from 3:30-5:30.

Parents and Guardians,
We apologize for not having a two-hour delay today. This snow event did not happen until after 5 am, and the district must call a two-hour delay no later than 5 am, as busses are starting on their routes at 5:30 am. We realize the conditions are unsafe, and we will excuse absences for students today if you feel bringing your child to school is too dangerous.

Due to the forecasted extreme cold and potential school delays, the District Spelling Bee 2025 has been rescheduled. The event will now take place on January 28th at 9:30 AM at the PAC. Thank you for your understanding and support.
Due to the extreme cold temperatures for the rest of the week, Grants Cibola County Schools will be on a 2 hour delay Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week.
Correction.
The two hour delay is for tomorrow January 21 2025. The previous message had the wrong date. Thank you.
Due to the dangerously low temperatures tomorrow morning, Grants Cibola County Schools will be on a two hour delay January 22,2025.

PSA for the January 21, 2025 Regular School Board Meeting.
The Grants Cibola County School district is very sad to hear of the passing of New Mexico Representative Eliseo "Lee" Alcon. Mr. Alcon was a dedicated member of our community and a champion for education in Cibola County. We are grateful for his tenure in office and for his legacy for our students. His leadership and support will be greatly missed. Representative Alcon made a difference in our community and in the schools of the Grants Cibola County Schools District.

Come join the fun, everyone! Students in Kindergarten through 12th grade can partner up and compete anytime from 9 AM to 2 PM on January 11th. We’ll provide everything you need, so just bring a friend and support our amazing archery team!
