Beginning Monday, November 2, 2026, GCCS will make the following adjustments:
🏫 Elementary schools: Extend the instructional day by five minutes for the remainder of the school year.
⏰ Secondary schools: Adjust passing periods to add five minutes of instructional time each day.
These changes will help recover instructional time lost to flooding while avoiding an extension of the school year into summer.
