The Office of Federal Programs provides support for schools through Federal Programs funding which includes Title I, Title II, Title III/EL, Title IV, Title V, Foster Care and Homeless.

Our mission is to provide a high-quality system of support to schools in order to promote educational excellence through the procurement, monitoring, and utilization of federal funds.

Federal Programs Overview:

Title I: Federal funding for schools to make an impact on school-wide reforms by improving the academic achievement of the disadvantaged.

Title II: Federal funding for preparing, training and recruiting high quality teachers, principals and other school leaders.

Title III/EL: Language instruction for English Learners and Immigrant Students.

Title IV: Federal funding composed of two large block grant programs as well as discretionary grant and assistance programs meant to support the comprehensive needs of students in a variety of settings, strengthen family engagement, and bring America’s schools into the 21st century.

Title V: Federal fund available under two separate formula programs that target rural local educational agencies (LEAs) - the Rural and Low-Income School Program (RLIS) and the Small, Rural School Achievement Program (SRSA).
