However, due to persistent rainfall over the past several days, we understand that road conditions in some rural surrounding areas may be muddy or unsafe.
If your student lives in a rural area and is unable to safely travel to school due to road conditions, they will be excused from attendance.
Please use your best judgment and prioritize safety when making travel decisions.

Due to the rising water at the Seama Bridge and the significant rainfall we have been experiencing on the Laguna Pueblo and in Cibola County, Laguna Governor Antonio has requested that all Laguna students be released to their parents/guardians.
This request is being made as a precaution to help ensure the safety of our students and their families as weather and road conditions continue to develop.
Parents/guardians are asked to make arrangements to pick up their students. Please follow the school’s regular student checkout procedures upon arrival. Buses will run on a regular schedule.

Dear Grants High School Families and Staff,
Please be advised that due to a maintenance issue on campus, Grants High School will transition to an asynchronous learning day tomorrow, Tuesday, September 29th. This change applies exclusively to Grants High School; all other schools within the district will operate on their normal schedules.
To ensure continuity of learning, all students are expected to log into their online classes tomorrow to receive and complete their assignments for the day.
Please note that scheduled IEP meetings will proceed as planned, but they will be temporarily relocated to the District Office.
We appreciate your flexibility and cooperation as our teams resolve this matter. Additional updates will be shared as they become available throughout the day.
